New Features

• Start a Scribe from the Home Screen or Lock Screen. Add a Commure Pro widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen, or long-press the app icon, to start a new Scribe or resume one in progress — no need to open the app and find a patient first. The patient picker includes a search bar, a Scribe action opens the patient’s detail screen before recording begins, and the AI Summary action opens that patient’s summary. Availability follows each user’s Scribe and AI Summary permissions.
• Start Scribe replaces the separate New and Resume Scribe entry points. Providers with the AI Scribe preference enabled tap a microphone icon on the Patient List to start a new Scribe or pick up a draft, and the older New Scribe and Resume Scribe swipe actions are retired. Resuming opens the patient’s detail screen first, and a patient with no drafts goes straight to the Scribe panel. Drafts load faster on sites configured for the Note Writer web capability.
• A single Scribe option replaces New Scribe and Resume Scribe. Starting a scribe now takes one step from any entry point: tap the microphone icon on the Patient List or choose Scribe from the + menu. If you have draft notes, you pick whether to resume one or start a new session; if you don’t, recording opens directly. New Scribe and Resume Scribe are removed from Settings > General > Swipe Options, and the flow is the same wherever you start it.
• AI Studio moves onto the main tab bar. For users with AI Scribe enabled, AI Studio opens in its own tab instead of a popup, with a Reload control in the top bar to refresh it after a stale session or a failed load. Returning to the tab keeps work in progress. Providers moves into Settings as a Provider Directory that opens the same list. Where AI Scribe is not enabled, Providers stays on the tab bar and Settings is unchanged.
• The Scribe panel opens as soon as a new note is created. Starting a new Scribe shows the panel right after the note is created, and the rest of the setup — backend notes, template list, and settings — finishes in the background. The template and backend-note picker fill in on the open panel once setup completes; until then the panel works with the patient name and recording controls. If setup fails, a non-blocking message offers a retry against the same note and recording stays available.
• Clinical modules reopen to the last patient and screen after a timeout. When the app times out inside a clinical module, relaunching returns to the same patient and the same screen instead of starting the workflow over, with saved screen state and the breadcrumb stack restored. If a screen cannot be restored, the app opens the module list rather than failing to launch. Covers the clinical modules on iPhone and iPad.
• Sign in when Microsoft Entra Conditional Access is enforced. You can now sign in when your organization enforces Entra Conditional Access with a required app protection policy and multi-factor authentication. Where the policy check previously blocked access, the app applies the required protection policy and completes sign-in without a separate step. Sign-in is unchanged where Conditional Access is off, and failed attempts record clear diagnostic entries for support review.

Improvements

• Confirming a scribe opens the scribe panel. Tapping to confirm a new scribe, or resuming a scribe already in progress, opens the scribe panel. Audio recording starts when you tap Start Recording.
• Saving a scribe recording no longer prompts an extra alert. Confirming the save on a Scribe recording completes the save directly, with no additional alert to dismiss afterward.
• Start a new patient record from anywhere in the patient list. A floating + button sits in the bottom-right corner of the Patient List and starts the Add Patient workflow.
• Faster app launch from tap to first screen. The app reaches a usable first screen more quickly on a cold start: non-critical startup work no longer blocks launch, and a deliberate pause ahead of the login screen has been removed. Login, patient list, CPOE, and Scribe workflows are unchanged.
• A more responsive sign-in screen. The sign-in screen no longer hangs or lags immediately after a host is entered and the username field is tapped. Sign-in behavior itself is unchanged.
• Quieter device logging. Repetitive, low-signal log lines are reduced in release builds across database and schema handling, sync and network transport, charge bill-day calculation, login and settings, and submission paths, with detailed SQL tracing now opt-in. Lifecycle and failure breadcrumbs are retained along with note, request, and account identifiers, so exported logs remain usable.
• Updated Resume Scribe and AI Studio icons. The Resume Scribe microphone icon and the AI Studio tab bar icon now use the current design assets, sized and aligned consistently with the surrounding controls across supported iPhone and iPad screen sizes in both Light and Dark modes.
• Platform and dependency maintenance. Third-party libraries move onto modern, actively supported integration methods, unmaintained components are replaced with supported alternatives, and build and continuous-integration configuration is updated to match. Existing app functionality is unchanged.

Bug Fixes

• Editing a clinical note no longer closes the app. Providers can open a clinical note, make edits, and save without the app shutting down mid-edit.
• Opening a clinical note detail no longer closes the app. An intermittent close as a clinical note detail screen opened is resolved, so moving between notes and other clinical workflows stays stable. Audit entries are still recorded and general app behavior is unchanged.
• Editing an order from an order set no longer closes the app. Open an order from an order set, change its details, and tap Done: the app stays open, the order row updates, and you return to the Order Set. Repeating orders still clone with the original left unchecked, auto-select sibling orders update the parent you opened, and orders inserted from search save to the set, with clinical decision support alerts on or off.
• The order list stays open while existing orders refresh. Changing filters or sort, pulling to refresh, switching visit or account, and adding, editing, or discarding orders during a refresh all keep the list intact, and tapping a row that is no longer shown simply does nothing.
• Patient chart lists stay stable during rapid scrolling and rotation. Clinical Notes, Allergies, Problems, Test Results, Lab Results, and Medications lists all redraw reliably during fast scrolling, rotation, and refresh on iPhone and iPad.
• The floating + button returns on charts opened from Patient Search. Button visibility no longer depends on whether a search is active, so you can start a new scribe without going back to the Patient List first.

New Features

• Resume AI Scribe drafts and regenerate note sections. From the Clinical Note detail screen, clinicians can resume an in-progress AI Scribe draft through a redesigned, card-based draft picker, choose which sections of a note to regenerate, or re-evaluate a note by recording additional audio. Notes refresh automatically when the app returns to the foreground, and an Upload Now action is available right from the navigation bar.
• Re-authenticate an expired sign-in without leaving Pending EHR Sync. Scribe notes that can’t sync because Expanse authentication has expired now appear at the top of the Pending EHR Sync list, each marked “Sign-in Required,” alongside a banner that lets you sign back in without leaving the screen. The list refreshes automatically once you’re authenticated.
• In-app feature announcements after login. Commure Pro can now surface feature announcements in a popup shortly after you log in. Announcements never interrupt an active broadcast message or critical clinical work — they hold while you’re on the Scribe panel, an active ambient recording, note editing, or order-entry screens, and appear once you reach an eligible screen.
• Create, edit, and add addenda in the cloud NoteWriter editor. When the cloud NoteWriter web app is configured for your environment, creating, editing, and adding an addendum to a note open in the cloud editor, with Resume Scribe, Rate Scribe, and Re-evaluation available directly from the editor. Completed scribe recordings notify the note screen so it refreshes automatically after upload; the Inbox is unchanged, and note creation and editing fall back to the existing flow when the cloud editor is unavailable.

Improvements

• Rate this Scribe now works for backend notes. The feedback flow supports backend notes end to end, so clinicians can rate scribe output on backend and non-backend notes alike.
• AI Copilot stays on the Clinical Copilot flow. The AI Copilot entry in the main messaging tab is now non-interactive to prevent navigation from an unsupported entry point; AI Copilot remains available through the patient-based Clinical Copilot flow.
• New Scribe panel opens faster. Starting a scribe from the Patient List brings up the panel as soon as the note is created — recording stays disabled until the note is ready to capture audio — and the panel’s loading and rendering are optimized for a quicker, smoother first display.
• Clinical note list stays in sync with the selected template. The note list now refreshes automatically when you switch templates, so it reflects the current template instead of showing stale entries.
• Patient list preferences load faster. The patient list now loads its user preferences in a single batched request when it opens.
• Status text in the Sources view is right-aligned for a cleaner, more consistent presentation.

Bug Fixes

• Sign-in no longer crashes after a session timeout. The app now transitions reliably from the login screen to the patient list after signing back in with Face ID or fingerprint following a timed-out session, instead of closing.
• Login stays stable after PIN entry. An intermittent crash that could occur after entering a PIN during login has been resolved.
• App no longer crashes when signing in on a Mac. Clinicians using the iPad app on a Mac can now sign in and keep working without the app closing.
• Broadcast messages load reliably after login. Signing in now retrieves and shows the broadcast message popup without the app crashing during login sync.
• Rate this Scribe stays available on signed notes. Opening a signed note now shows the Rate this Scribe option as expected, including backend-signed notes that have crossed over into the notes list, and it no longer disappears from final notes.
• Rate this Scribe keeps your typed feedback and always confirms submission. Feedback typed in the popup stays in place when you clear the Other checkbox, and a success confirmation now appears no matter which link you use to submit.
• Scribe uploads no longer stall behind a note that is finishing. Starting a new ambient session on the same clinical note — or immediately after finishing one on the same patient — no longer deadlocks the upload queue; each recording uploads independently and later recordings keep processing without an app restart or logout.
• Scribe recording no longer crashes on start. Starting or resuming a scribe recording session no longer closes the app, so clinicians can begin and play back a recording reliably.
• Timestamp picker displays correctly in landscape. When re-evaluating a scribe note in Clinical Note Details, the timestamp picker now renders correctly with the device rotated.
• Scanned documents in clinical notes no longer crash on rapid switching. The document view loads and cancels reliably when document loads overlap, so the correct document displays without stale or partial content.
• Medications list no longer crashes during rapid scrolling, including switching between the MAR and All Orders segments, pull-to-refresh, and device rotation.
• Patient search no longer crashes on unresolved visit types. Viewing Other Matches results no longer closes the app when a visit row references a visit type that isn’t fully synced locally.
• Order list no longer crashes during refresh when adding or deleting orders, switching sessions, or responding to clinical decision-support alerts.
• Charge save no longer crashes when saving header edits.
• Note list filtering no longer crashes on tablet. Working with the clinical note list filters on larger screens now loads and filters reliably.
• Smart Suggestions no longer crashes when a session ends while it loads. If you log out or the session times out just as Smart Suggestions is loading, the pending work is canceled safely and the popup is quietly skipped.
• App installation and registration fixed for MDM-managed wrapped-handheld deployments, so affected devices can install the app, complete registration, and sign in successfully.
• Broad stability hardening across clinical workflows. Resolved intermittent crashes surfaced through crash telemetry — including while the Charges list loaded and on the notes list — plus faster, smoother Scribe panel display.

New Features

• Search and add patients right from the Patient List. Patient search now lives directly on the Patient List screen — as you type a name or MRN, matches from your selected list and the wider patient directory appear together, with directory results under “Other Matches.” You can add a patient who already has a visit in the EHR straight to your Visit list and go right to their chart. If you don’t have permission to add to a list, “Other Matches” still appear but the add action is disabled.
• Summarize multiple patients with AI. From the patient list, select patients and tap the new AI Summary button to open an AI-generated summary across all of them in an in-app view.
• Microsoft Intune (MAM) and MSAL authentication for managed deployments. Commure Pro now supports Microsoft Entra ID sign-in through MSAL — system browser with MFA — and enrolls the app with Microsoft Intune to enforce Conditional Access and app-protection policies, including token refresh and a remote wipe that clears locally cached clinical data when a device is unenrolled. Available in the managed enterprise build; the standard App Store build is unaffected.

Bug Fixes

• Discarding an unfinished order no longer crashes the Orders screen. Removing an order from the Unfinished Order section under the Pending tab and returning to the CPOE Orders screen no longer crashes the app.
• Clinical Notes no longer scroll back to the top on their own. A note’s detail screen now holds its scroll position instead of jumping back to the top after a few seconds.
• Scribe recording resumes after the screen locks. Locking the device mid-visit no longer stops audio capture; you can return to the scribe panel and continue recording without losing the session.
• Order list no longer crashes while loading. A rare crash that could close the app while the order list was rendering has been resolved.
• Broadcast messages load reliably after login. An intermittent crash while retrieving broadcast messages immediately after login has been resolved.
• Intermittent list-refresh crash resolved. A random crash that could occur while a list updated its contents has been fixed.
• Charge documentation no longer crashes the app. A crash that could occur while working in the Charges text-entry screen has been resolved.

New Features

• Smart Suggestions in Ambient. Ambient on iOS now surfaces personalized note-writing suggestions, powered by the same passive learning that drives Smart Suggestions in AI Studio. Suggestions load automatically after sign-in and stay out of the way during active recording.
• Live Activity and Dynamic Island for Ambient. Active Ambient recordings now appear as a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with recording status and an elapsed timer. Clinicians can pause, resume, or finish a session — and deep-link back into the app — without opening it.

Improvements

• App-launch popups appear in priority order. Smart Suggestions, RAI, and Broadcast popups now flow through a coordinated, API-driven priority queue, so only one appears at a time and popups don’t repeat.
• Clinical Copilot cleanups. The navigate-to-top button was removed from Clinical Copilot (it behaved inconsistently and obscured content), and swipe-action labels on the patient list now read “Clinical Copilot” and “AI Summary” without the “Open” prefix.
• Messaging-tab Clinical Copilot entry is now non-tappable. Clinicians access it through the patient-based Clinical Copilot flow.
• Microsoft Intune (MAM) and MSAL for WellMed enterprise builds. WellMed enterprise (Wrapped) builds now support Microsoft device-compliance, Conditional Access, and app-protection policies. The App Store build is unaffected.

Bug Fixes

• Login on older server versions no longer blocks the password field. An MFA regression from 2026.1.2 is resolved; the client now proceeds with the non-MFA login path against older servers.
• Spurious session-expired popup on the MFA web view fixed. Backgrounding and foregrounding the MFA web view before login no longer shows a session-expired popup.
• Ambient submission retries cleanly when a linked document is delayed, rather than stalling in a “requires upload” state.
• Clinical Copilot renders correctly on first load — markdown tables render and preloaded messages display in full without needing a refresh.
• Scribe Panel respects the safe area on iPhone 17.
• iPad Split View reliability — clinical modules load reliably when switching patients, and Remember Last Module stays consistent across rapid patient switches.
• CPOE crash fixes. Tapping Discard All no longer crashes the app with multiple new orders or with large order lists.
• Pending tab no longer crashes from an empty-state swipe.
• AI Icon returns relevant data on labs, test results, and notes after a request-categorization fix.
• Broad stability hardening across the clinical-module Notes list, CPOE order reloads/session restoration, iPad navigation on iOS 16/17, CoreData teardown, SQLCipher re-initialization, preference-access lifecycle, and analytics synchronization.
• Smoother dismissal animation for Rate this Scribe, and minor Clinical Copilot flicker/title-bar polish.

New Features

• Expanse: template selection when no Provider Documents exist. Providers can now pick a note template during recording even when no PDocs are available for the current date. Requires server 2026.1.2 and Mobilizer .41.
• Pending EHR Sync and In EHR views in the Pending tab. The Pending tab now includes Pending EHR Sync and In EHR sub-options, each opening the corresponding list of notes, with a swipe-to-delete gesture and access to the Clinical Note Details page (Change Template, Rate this Scribe, and conditional Resume Scribe).
• Clinical Copilot AI Summary in Order Status. Tapping the AI Summary icon in Order Status opens Clinical Copilot with an auto-generated summary of the patient’s recent order activity, including medications, infusions, and PRN status.
• Clinical Copilot prompt suggestions and onboarding. An empty chat now shows “Not sure how to get started?” with browseable, searchable predefined prompts that populate the input for review.

Improvements

• Clinical Copilot UI refresh. Markdown responses now render headings, bold, lists, and tables; sources moved behind a “See Sources” button with a dedicated tappable Sources list; a “Give Feedback” flow matching Rate this Scribe; a quick-scroll button; and refreshed titles, bubbles, and animations.
• RAI checks skipped when RAI is disabled. When RAI is disabled at the system level, eligibility checks are skipped during Login and Scribe; the preference syncs once per calendar day in the background.
• Simplified biometric and OAuth login. Biometric login is managed entirely at the device/app level, and OAuth-managed environments no longer prompt for an extra login.

Bug Fixes

• Face ID MFA no longer requires re-setup after a phone restart. Hardened IDP response handling, biometric credential unlock, and OAuth token persistence across device restarts.
• Recurring MFA prompt after successful login. Resolved a file-permission issue that prevented persisting authentication data when backgrounded or locked.
• Expanse template selector shows both templates and Backend Notes with timestamps across note statuses.
• Incorrect document selection on server 39.9 that caused “backend not found for the linked note” errors is resolved.
• Auto-selected template now appears selected in non-Expanse environments.
• Pending EHR Sync / In EHR counts reset on server change.
• Corrupt audio in merge & upload. A thread-safe merge queue, deterministic background-task init, and pre-upload file validation prevent zero-byte audio uploads.

• Crash hardening via Crashlytics-identified fixes across navigation, charge capture, I/O summary, clinical-module filters and lists, clinical notes, AI Summary, table views, and biometric authentication.

New Features

• Resume Scribe swipe action. Providers can continue an existing Ambient note directly from the Patient List with a new Resume Scribe swipe action (also on the ”+” menu), which auto-selects the most recent eligible draft or offers a picker when several exist. Replaces and renames the multi-step Re-scribe workflow.
• Patient location and account number on the Scribe panel. The recording panel now shows the patient’s location and account number, so providers can confirm patient context without leaving the screen.
• Haptic feedback for Ambient recording actions. Pause, Delete, and Save now trigger native haptic feedback to reduce accidental, unnoticed recording interruptions.

Improvements

• New default module order. The system default tile/row layout now matches clinician review flow (Clinical Notes → Vital Signs → I/Os → Lab Results → Test Results → Medications → Orders → Charges, then AI Summary, Clinical Copilot, and others as rows). Existing customized layouts are never overridden.
• Rate this Scribe full-screen panel. The feedback view now presents full-screen on iPhone and iPad with dynamic placeholder text based on the Like/Dislike selection.
• iOS 26.2.x compatibility. Upgraded for the upcoming App Store release with the latest SDK.

New Features

• AI Studio. Providers can personalize how Ambient notes are generated — customizing note structure, formatting, and section behavior; standardizing terminology; and inserting reusable content via macros and dot phrases. Available to Ambient Scribe users; web access requires Mobilizer .41 or later.
• Custom Formatting. Add note-level instructions and per-section rules (format, length, or disable a section) that apply to future notes for a selected template, up to 4,000 characters.
• Personal & Site Dictionary. Provider and admin terminology rules improve transcript accuracy for medications, names, and specialty terms; site entries override personal entries.
• Macros. Static or dynamic reusable content can now be added to any note section, personalized by patient demographics and visit context.
• Dot Phrases. Short spoken or typed triggers expand into longer predefined text during note generation, scoped to specific templates.
• Background audio upload for scribes. Audio uploads continue reliably when the app is backgrounded or the device is locked, resume on reconnect, and finish after relaunch.
• MT Expanse user authentication. Secure user-level authentication is triggered automatically after login for eligible users; tokens are valid for 90 days. Requires Mobilizer .41 or later.
• Responsible AI for Clinicians training. An in-app prompt directs providers to Responsible AI training and lets them attest completion, tracked across platforms via a new Responsible AI Attestation report. Requires Mobilizer .41 or later.

Improvements

• PatientKeeper is now Commure Pro. The app is rebranded to Commure Pro with a refreshed UI on iOS and Android. No changes to existing features, workflows, or configurations, and no action required.
• Improved “Rate this Scribe.” Feedback is now available on all Ambient notes across Web and Mobile (Note Ready, In EHR, Final), uses thumbs up/down instead of stars, offers guided reasons, and raises the comment limit to 3,000 characters. Final-status availability requires Mobilizer .41 or later.
• Minimum supported iOS raised to iOS 16.

• Reduced hangs and crashes during launch, resume, and login on slow or unavailable networks.
• iPad landscape patient-list collapse is resolved.

New Features

• Delete unfinished scribes from the Pending tab. A swipe-to-delete action removes unwanted drafts and safely deletes the associated note and audio files from local storage, with error handling for in-progress uploads.
• Rescribe button on the Note Details page. Re-scribing is now a single-click action from Note Details — available for In-EHR or Note Ready status (Expanse) or Note Ready status (non-Expanse).
• Switch or reassign patient for an unfinished scribe. Providers can move audio recorded for the wrong patient to the correct one from the Unfinished Scribes list.
• Force upload for pending scribe audio. A new Patient List option force-uploads pending audio when files are waiting.

• “Take a Tour” banner now appears only once after install; the “Prompt to Take a Tour” setting was removed.
