The Personal Dictionary lets you define custom word mappings so the AI correctly recognizes medical terms, medication names, abbreviations, and proper nouns in your transcriptions.

How It Works

When you add an entry to your dictionary, the AI will recognize the misspelled or misheard word in future recordings and automatically insert the correct spelling into the generated note. Common use cases:
  • Medication names
  • Medical acronyms and abbreviations
  • Provider, place, or facility names

Provider-Level Dictionary

1

Open AI Studio

Navigate to Settings > AI Studio > Personal Dictionary.
2

Add an entry

Enter the misspelled or misrecognized word on the left, and the correct spelling on the right.
3

Save

Tap Add. The correction auto-applies to all future transcriptions.
To remove an entry, tap the red trash icon next to it.

Site-Level Dictionary (Admin)

Site administrators can create organization-wide corrections that apply to all providers:
  1. Navigate to Settings > AI Studio > Site Dictionary.
  2. Enter the misspelled word, correct spelling, and correction type.
  3. Save the entry. It appears as read-only for all site users.
Site dictionary entries take precedence over personal entries. If a site admin creates an entry for a word, individual providers cannot create a conflicting personal entry for that same word. Admins can delete site entries to re-enable personal corrections.
