New Features

• Bottom tab bar and patient-list home screen. A persistent bottom tab bar runs across the app, so moving between areas takes one tap; it steps aside only for full-screen surfaces such as web views. The patient list is now the launch and home screen, with the dashboard opening as a patient’s detail screen, and Provider and AI Studio join the existing tabs. Sync, Exit, and Help move out of the overflow menus into the Settings tab.
• Start a scribe from the Android home screen. Start a scribe straight from a home-screen widget, and reach the same entry point from the app shortcut in the launcher’s long-press menu. The widget prompts you to select a patient before the scribe starts, and offers one scribe option rather than separate resume and new-scribe paths.
• Start or resume a scribe from any patient in the patient list. A microphone icon now sits next to every patient. Tapping it opens a single Scribe option that lands you in the right place: when the patient has draft notes waiting, you can resume a draft or start a new scribe; when there are none, a new scribe starts right away.
• AI Summary on the patient list. AI Summary is available from the top right of the patient list and covers the patients on that list. It becomes available once a list holds more than one patient.
• Conditional access policies on managed Android devices. When a conditional access policy blocks sign-in on a managed device, the app now recognizes the policy requirement instead of reporting a generic login failure, runs a compliance check, and prompts to install the Company Portal app when it is missing. Once the device reports as compliant, sign-in and session refresh continue automatically. Applies to devices enrolled in mobile application management.

Improvements

• The scribe panel opens faster when you start a new scribe. The scribe panel now opens with noticeably less delay after tapping New Scribe. The existing scribe flows — swipe, the + button, rescribe, re-eval, upload, and delete — continue to work as before.
• Resume Scribe keeps component-level options from Note Details. Resuming a scribe session from a note’s detail screen now offers the same component-level options available from the patient dashboard, so you can dictate for an individual component of the note without backing out to the dashboard first.
• Saving a scribe recording no longer prompts an extra alert. Confirming the save on a Scribe recording completes the save directly, with no additional alert to dismiss afterward.
• Android 16 support with updated back navigation. The app now targets Android 16 and adopts the platform behavior changes that apply at that target. Back handling was updated so back navigation behaves consistently across the app, including charge entry with the previous-diagnoses dialog and AI Summary.
• Security hardening for locally stored sign-in and patient-list data. A reported security finding in how the app reads locally stored sign-in and patient-list data is remediated. The stored format is unchanged, so there is no data migration and no re-provisioning when this release is installed over an existing build.
• XML parsing hardened against external entity attacks. XML parsing of server submission responses now rejects DOCTYPE declarations and disables external entity, parameter entity, and external DTD resolution. The hardening covers every submission response the app processes, including manual registration, charge capture, PQRS, and offline sync. No current backend sends a DOCTYPE, so existing workflows are unaffected.
• Scribe feedback records the source note reference. Feedback submitted from Rate this Scribe now carries a backend note identifier alongside the existing note identifier, and flags whether the note originated in the backend, so each rating is matched to the note it describes on the server.
• Platform and tooling maintenance. The app is built against Android API level 36, the Microsoft Intune mobile application management SDK is updated, performance and sync analytics instrumentation is added, and build automation is updated. No screens, settings, or clinical workflows change.

Bug Fixes

• Sign-in no longer shuts down the app when a session cannot be refreshed. When a saved session can no longer be refreshed during login, the app stays running. Biometric login and the other login methods that share this path are covered.
• Navigation bar fixes across the app. The bottom navigation bar hides while the keyboard is open, keeps the Messaging and AI Studio labels readable in portrait and on narrow screens, gains spacing at the Patient List and Settings ends, and stays hidden for users who do not have messaging. Tapping the patient icon or a tab you are already viewing returns you to the root of that tab.
• Scribe and widget fixes. You can start a new scribe for a patient who already has a draft note, resuming from note details no longer offers a duplicate start option, finishing a scribe from the notification list confirms the submission, and folding a foldable device keeps the recording running. The scribe widget no longer dismisses an active scribe panel, opens duplicate resume panels for the same patient, or leaves you signed out after a relaunch.
• Rotation, photo, and note-detail fixes. Rotating the device no longer pushes scribe panels off screen, overlaps charge transaction options, or interrupts log submission, and the saved hostname and username are kept. Photos reflect a save or delete right away, the previous note view opens when cloud note writer is off, sections to regenerate appear on legacy note detail when available, and the Add Patient and copy-to-note screen titles are left aligned so they are no longer cut off.

New Features

• Resume and Re-eval Scribe in the clinical note detail view. Non-backend clinical notes now open in an updated note detail view that supports Resume Scribe and Re-eval Scribe. Clinicians can pick up an in-progress scribe session, upload recordings directly from the note’s navigation bar, and re-evaluate a note with an editable timestamp, and use Smart Update to regenerate selected note sections. PDF and backend notes continue to display as before.
• Rate this Scribe on EHR-signed notes. The Rate this Scribe option now appears on scribe notes after they are signed in the EHR and synced back into the app, so clinicians can give feedback on signed notes, not just newly created ones.
• In-app announcements for newly released features. A new announcement popup introduces newly released features without interrupting clinical work. Announcements are non-blocking and are suppressed on the charges, medications, and order list screens so they never appear during focused charting.
• Re-authenticate an expired sign-in from the notes list. When authentication expires, an authentication-required header appears and notes waiting on authentication show a Sign-in Required status. Re-authentication launches directly from the header so affected notes can resume syncing, and fresh sign-in scenarios are handled by the same flow.

Bug Fixes

• Empty patient lists no longer crash the app. Lists now handle empty and still-loading states reliably.
• Resuming a paused scribe recording is reliable. Clinicians can pause and pick recording back up mid-visit without the app closing.
• Starting a scribe recording is reliable. Ambient note capture launches and runs without the prior startup crash.
• Fixed an intermittent crash during background data loads. The app no longer closes unexpectedly when loading data in the background after its local database is no longer available.
• Biometric sign-in works again. Signing in with biometrics now completes and takes you into the app, resolving a regression that let authentication succeed without advancing past the sign-in screen.
• Clinical note swiping no longer crashes the app. Quickly swiping between clinical notes — or opening a note and immediately backing out — now works reliably as the note detail view handles fast navigation changes.
• Announcement popups stay hidden until after login. Opening the settings screen from the login screen no longer marks you as signed in early, so the Announcement popup and other post-login prompts wait until you have actually logged in.
• Scribe Panel delete message matches the portal. The delete-confirmation wording in the Scribe Panel is now aligned with the portal for a consistent experience across surfaces.

New Features

• Secure enterprise sign-in with Microsoft Intune app protection. The Android app now supports Microsoft Intune app protection (MAM) with Microsoft sign-in, so organizations can enforce Conditional Access and app-protection policies on managed devices. On hosts configured for Intune, signing in requires Company Portal and a work or school Microsoft account; the app enrolls with Intune and applies managed protections such as an app PIN on resume.
• Patient search now reaches beyond your loaded list. A new search bar at the top of the patient list filters your loaded patients by name or MRN in real time, and accounts that aren’t on your list yet appear in an “Other Matches” section below — so you can add an existing visit straight from the results with a single checkbox, without leaving the screen.

Improvements

• Critical-error logs upload automatically. When a critical error occurs — an audio-encoding failure, an auth-token expiration during an active session, or database corruption — the app now uploads the relevant diagnostic logs automatically instead of requiring a manual pull from the web portal, helping diagnose intermittent, hard-to-reproduce failures faster.
• Scribe feedback now records the source note reference. Feedback submitted through Rate this Scribe now carries the underlying note’s backend identifier alongside the existing note ID, so each rating is accurately matched to the note it describes on the server.

Bug Fixes

• Password field ready when switching login servers. Changing the host name to sign in to a different server — moving between OAuth and basic authentication — now enables the password field on the first attempt.
• New Scribe option restored for the last patient in the list. Clinicians can again start a new scribe for the patient at the bottom of the patient list.
• AI Summary no longer errors when switching patients. Returning to the patient list and opening a different patient no longer triggers a webview failure on the summary page.
• Order entry restored on Android handheld. A regression that had blocked all CPOE order entry on Android handheld devices is resolved.
• Fewer crashes from an intermittent database error. A crash caused by a closed database connection has been addressed, further reducing how often the app unexpectedly closes during use.
• Intermittent Android app crash fix. Resolved an intermittent crash identified through crash reporting.
• Firebase push messaging service restored. A configuration issue affecting Firebase Cloud Messaging and app installation services has been resolved, restoring reliable push-notification delivery.

New Features

• Smart Suggestions in Ambient. Smart Suggestions is now available on Pro Android Ambient, carrying Ambient’s passive-learning model into the Android note-creation flow so suggestions adapt to each provider’s editing patterns. Surfaced in a full-screen popup, with launch-time popups (RAI, Broadcast, Smart Suggestions) now coordinated into a defined priority order.
• Ambient Live Updates: in-progress notification. A live notification now appears while an Ambient session is active, so users can see and control recording state from outside the app; it is removed when the session ends or is interrupted.
• Pull Logs from Android devices. Pro Android now supports the Collect Logs setting that already exists on Pro iOS, so support staff can pull logs from a specific device on demand, bounded to a selected start/end date.

Bug Fixes

• Login keystore recovery. A login-time crash on devices with corrupted encrypted preferences or an invalidated keystore key is resolved; recovery now triggers a preferences migration instead of failing the login screen.
• Patient List sync-status crash. Resolved a crash where a posted shared-preferences callback could run after the screen detached.
• Medications view crash. Resolved a crash where a shared-preferences listener could fire on the main thread after the screen was torn down.
• IO (Intake/Output) view crash. Resolved a null-reference crash caused by checking summary loading before confirming definitions had loaded.
• Telemetry-reported crash fixes. Resolved a Preconditions out-of-bounds crash and a test-time synchronization crash surfaced by telemetry.

New Features

• Expanse template management from the note detail screen. Providers can select and switch templates directly from a note’s detail view; the list shows both templates and existing documents and filters out templates that already have an associated Expanse note. Selecting a new template regenerates the note.
• Pending EHR Sync and In EHR views in the Pending tab. New sub-options under Pending Upload show counts and open the corresponding list of notes, with a swipe-to-delete gesture and a note detail view (Change Template, Resume Scribe, Rate this Scribe). Resume Scribe appears only when the patient is in the current patient list.

Improvements

• RAI checks skipped when RAI is disabled. The app caches the institution RAI preference locally, refreshes it once per calendar day in the background, and skips eligibility calls during login and scribe when RAI is off.
• Simplified biometric and OAuth login. Biometric login is managed entirely at the device/app level, and OAuth-enabled environments no longer prompt for an extra login.
• Scribe options disabled when the patient isn’t in the patient list. Resume Scribe and similar options are correctly disabled from the note detail view when the patient has been removed or the list has changed.

Bug Fixes

• Unusable state after a server-side password change. A sync that detects invalid credentials now navigates the user to the login page for re-authentication instead of leaving the app in sync-exception / 500 errors. Clinical modules load correctly after re-login.
• Improved note-creation reliability across new, missing, and existing server response parameters.

New Features

• Resume Scribe swipe action. Providers can continue an existing Ambient note from the Patient List with a new Resume Scribe swipe action (also on the ”+” menu), which auto-selects the most recent eligible draft or offers a picker when several exist. Replaces and renames the multi-step Re-scribe workflow.
• Patient location and account number on the Scribe panel. The recording panel now shows the patient’s location and account number for quick context confirmation.
• Haptic feedback for Ambient recording actions. Pause, Delete, and Save now trigger haptic feedback to reduce accidental recording interruptions.
• Module-specific AI Summary on Android. Providers can now generate AI Summaries from individual patient modules (e.g. Lab Results, Vital Signs, Medications), matching iOS; the icon enables once module data is preloaded, with cached data valid for five minutes.

Bug Fixes

• AI Studio “See more examples” link now works.
• Crash on double-clicking Load More Data in Clinical Notes and Test Results is resolved through improved rapid/duplicate tap handling.
• General stability and analytics improvements.

New Features

• AI Studio. Providers can personalize how Ambient notes are generated — customizing note structure, formatting, and section behavior; standardizing terminology; and inserting reusable content via macros and dot phrases. Available to Ambient Scribe users; web access requires Mobilizer .41 or later.
• Custom Formatting. Add note-level instructions and per-section rules (format, length, or disable a section) that apply to future notes for a selected template, up to 4,000 characters.
• Personal & Site Dictionary. Provider and admin terminology rules improve transcript accuracy for medications, names, and specialty terms; site entries override personal entries.
• Macros. Static or dynamic reusable content can now be added to any note section, personalized by patient demographics and visit context.
• Dot Phrases. Short spoken or typed triggers expand into longer predefined text during note generation, scoped to specific templates.
• Background audio upload for scribes. Audio uploads continue reliably when the app is backgrounded or the device is locked, resume on reconnect, and finish after relaunch.
• MT Expanse user authentication. Secure user-level authentication is triggered automatically after login for eligible users; tokens are valid for 90 days. Requires Mobilizer .41 or later.
• Responsible AI for Clinicians training. An in-app prompt directs providers to Responsible AI training and lets them attest completion, tracked across platforms via a new Responsible AI Attestation report. Requires Mobilizer .41 or later.

Improvements

• PatientKeeper is now Commure Pro. The app is rebranded to Commure Pro with a refreshed UI on iOS and Android. No changes to existing features, workflows, or configurations, and no action required.
• Improved “Rate this Scribe.” Feedback is now available on all Ambient notes across Web and Mobile (Note Ready, In EHR, Final), uses thumbs up/down instead of stars, offers guided reasons, and raises the comment limit to 3,000 characters. Final-status availability requires Mobilizer .41 or later.

Bug Fixes

• Rare Firebase crash on the Clinical Notes list related to SQLite connection handling is resolved.
• Faster note-details fetching via a backend query parameter that reduces redundant database lookups.
• Notes no longer incorrectly marked stale if the app closes before the server responds; notes transition safely from Draft to Requires Upload with proper cleanup.

New Features

• Re-scribe for notes (Expanse and non-Expanse). Providers can add context missed in the original recording and regenerate the note. Available for In-EHR or Note Ready status (Expanse) or Note Ready status (non-Expanse).
• Switch or reassign patient for an unfinished scribe. From Unfinished Scribes, tap the three-dot menu → Reassign to move audio to the correct patient.
• Delete unfinished scribes from the Pending tab. The three-dot menu → Delete removes a draft and safely deletes its note and audio files from local storage.
• Access clinical data while scribing. A new clinical view behind the scribe panel shows all modules for quick reference; the scribe panel is minimizable and draggable, staying visible in compact form with key metadata.
• Copy to Note from clinical modules. When scribing from NoteWriter, providers can copy data from Lab Results, Test Results, Vitals, I/O, Notes, Orders, or Medications directly into the note. (Disabled for Quick Scribe and not yet supported for Expanse templates.)
• Patient List auto-refresh and pull-to-refresh. The list refreshes at login and on manual pull, shows newly added patients immediately, and clears when a patient is removed in the portal.

Improvements

• Clinical module improvements. Clinical Notes, Lab Results, and Test Results now auto-apply filters when loading more data, match portal data counts, load in configurable chunks, retain scroll position when navigating back, and load reliably on first attempt.
• “Take a Tour” banner now appears only once after install; the “Prompt to Take a Tour” setting was removed.
