# AI Studio

> Customize how Ambient AI generates and formats your clinical notes.

**AI Studio** is your control center for tailoring how Ambient AI produces notes. Access it from **Settings** > **AI Studio**.

## What You Can Configure

AI Studio gives you granular control over every aspect of note generation:

    Set rules for tone, structure, content, and macros — overall rules and section-level formatting, length, and style.

    Correct commonly misrecognized medical terms, names, or abbreviations in your transcriptions.

## How It Works

AI Studio settings let you define how your notes are generated. Configure formatting rules and dot phrases once, and they apply every time the AI generates a note for you. Macros are configured within *[Custom Formatting](/apple/ambient_ai_scribe/custom-formatting#macros)*.

For example, you can set preferences like detailed bullet points for one type of encounter and concise paragraphs for another.

## How It Improves

Ambient learns from the edits you make to generated notes. Periodically, AI Studio surfaces a [Smart Suggestions](/apple/ambient_ai_scribe/smart-suggestions) prompt so you can approve or dismiss the preferences it has inferred from your editing patterns.

  AI Studio is enabled per organization via feature flag. If you do not see it in **Settings**, contact your Commure representative to enable it.

  Changes made in AI Studio apply to future notes only. To update an existing note with additional context, use *[Resume Scribe](/apple/ambient_ai_scribe/scribe-actions#resume-scribe)* from the Note Actions page.
